Did not honor the cancer policy. Claimed in one letter I did not have surgery for Prostate Cancer, which I did on 11 March. I turned it over to the Texas Insurance Commission.in the first lette

I had surgery for Prostate Cancer on 11 March. When I filed a claim with Legionnaire Insurance Trust, they sent me a letter dated 2I Maystating I was denied because I hadn't had the policy long enough.

I also had a Hospital Indemnity policy with them that had been in effect for over one year. It states in the policy they pay double for Cancer hospitalization. They originally ignored that policy until I had it pointed out through the Texas Insurance Commission.

They finally sent me a check of $70 on the Hospital Indemnity policy on a bill of $25,000.00. They did remit the $89 for the Emergency Medical plan after the Texas Insurance Commission contacted them the 2nd time.

I won't know till I get my next bank statement if they finally stopped taking electronic deductions for premiums. They told me in their first letter, when I was cancelled, they were sending back my premiums. The very next day and, the following month too, they continued to take premiums from my bank account. You have to stay on top of them all the time and watch them closely. I sure hope there are not any other Vets out there that get the same treatment I did
