I have been paying premiums to Legionnaires Ins Trust for years. The one time I needed them I called was told that Amyliodosis was covered under my Cancer care policy because it was a form of Cancer. LIT sent me the forms to complete and at the same time semt me a letter informing me that my policy was being cancelled because the Attorny Generals office in Massachusetts determined that for some reason LIT was barred from selling insurance in MA. I was also informed that all premiums paid by me would have to be returned to me under the agreement with the Sate. I was also informed that all claims in process would be honored.
I Sumitted the Paper work to LIT for the claim on June 21 for some of the costs associated with my Wifes illness. Since then I have been getting the Runaround from LIT. Each time I receive a letter from a" Benefits Analyst" at LIT I submitted the paper work. A few weeks later I get another letter from from another "benefits Analyst " asking for the same information. This has been going on for months. These are the same "Analysis" who told me that my Wifes Disease was covered under the policy Hence no resolution to the claim, and no reimbursement for the premiums I have been paying since 2005
Both the Federal Government as well as the American Legion should be looking into this insurance company which seems to be ripping off Veterans on a daily basis
