Alibaba.com profits from charging fees to vendors. Unlike Ebay or Amazon, it requires no identification of vendors, and provides no help for ripped off customers. As such, they are profitiing from criminal operations. Amazingly, they are traded on the Chinese stock exchange. From first glance, they appear to be a site similar to Amazon or Ebay. But their "suppliers' receive payment only through Western Union, with the code word option, so they can take the money and run. Alibaba allows this, as it is the source of their profits.
