Excessive Treatments, contracted Rates with Insurance Co

In addition to my previous complaint I have learned of two other ways Polly Badt owner of Body Rehab Center has mistreated her Patients.

First, She has the Patient pay the difference between what the Insurance Company pays and what her rates are. She is contracted with each Insurance Company and she can only charge you the co-pay or your deductable. She cannot charge you over and above what her contract rate is. An example: Her rate is $176 for 1 hour and she is contracted with your Insurnace Company for $90. She cannot charge you the difference of $86. If you have a deductable to satisfy, you should only pay $90 not the full charge of $176.

Secondly, Excessive Treatments. Mrs. Badt states you need treatment for 1 or more years.insurance Companies say 24 treatments are the maximum and anything over that is inappropiate and a form of fraudulent compensation. If you are not better after 6 months, you need to seek an alternative treatment from your Doctor. Obvioulsy, the treatments are not working for your condition.

There is two much medical fraud in our society and each and every individual needs to talk with their Insurance Company as to what charges are allowed. It is only a 5 minute phone call that will save you thousands of dollars.
