I bought a weight-loss product for a trial period and a cost of $2.95 (Order #2450440). I was told it would show up as "HealthMax" on my bank account. I ordered on 2/2, and on 2/8 (just 6 days later) my account was debited for. 09,2.61,2.95, and 87.13. I haven't even received the product yet.
I've tried to call numerable times to cancel, sometimes waiting as long as half an hour, and no one answers. There is just music playing, with no interruptions to ask you to hold on (as most other on-hold systems have); just endless music. I haven't been able to reach anyone yet.
I've tried to go online to find someplace to complain to the company itself, but there doesn't appear to be any place to do that (not surprisingly).
I don't want the product (even though I've yet to receive it) — just because I think this is a scam.
I've filed a dispute with my bank and asked it to look into the matter. I don't know what you can do about this, but any help would be appreciated.
