Mollen Immunization Clinic
Not the greatest Place to Work Either!

Just wanted to throw in that Mollen Immunization Clinics is not the greatest place to work either. The implication when they hire you is that you will be working in the HR Department, but you really are in an HR/Recruiting call center with about 300 other people that are hired to read a scripted letter to nurses who have applied online, and hire them if their credentials are good. Doesn't really matter what else they have as far as work ethic or references, just hire as many nurses as you can in a day all over the U.S., and hope theyshow upto the clinics! Then once the hiring mania is done, (and we ended up hiring way too many nurses in some areas, and none in areas where we really needed them, because of the lack of organization and knowledge of the upper management) then they switch us to taking calls from nurses to clock them in and answer questions that we are not trained to answer! Really, the training is a joke. We are all taken in to a room and shown a slide show of the website for about an hour, then taken out to the floor, given a "buddy" and told to get on the phones! Wow! Then, if you ask questions or express concerns, you are made to feel stupid and talked to like you are two and never worked a job in your life. I am past middle age, had several managerial positions and even owned my own businesses in the past, so this was a little hard to take. But they know that they have a bunch of people who really need the work, so they can get away with it. Many employees hurried to find other work and quit as soon as they could, or just got fed up with the way we were treated and walked out.

It was tough when nurses would call with questions that I know I could have answered with just a little extra training, but we were told to "transfer" them to a different department, where I know that there were very long wait times. Also the whole viability of the vaccine when it is transported all over the country like that is very questionable. Lets just say I wouldn't get a shot at one of their clinics if it was the last place to go for a shot! Stick to your local Dr. Better yet, theCommunity Center where they are sometimesfree and save yourself $20 or $30 bucks!
