I ordered Acai Optimum on August 7. The advertising led me to believe that I would receive $99.96 worth of product for free after a rebate (instant, I thought), and would pay only $1.19 for shipping. Distressed by an immediate charge of $99.96, I called and was told that I had to go online, print, fill out, and send the necessary rebate form, and upon receipt, the company would refund my $99.96 in the form of a Visa gift card. While waiting for my refund, another charge for $99.96 was made against my credit card on August 27, followed by $1.50 on 8/28, $1.50 on 8/29, and $1.50 on 8/30.incensed, I called and was told that the three small charges would be removed (never were), and that the offer had required TWO payments of $99.96 with the rebate available on only one.in other words, I was stuck paying $99.96 for my FREE Acai Optimum! So far I have been waiting for over 5 months for my refund and have been told numerous times that my account was credited (NOT) or would be credited (NOT) and am totally disgusted. Furthermore, I don't feel that the product delivered the benefits that were promised. This is clearly a scam.
