My daughter and I responded to an ad on a Christian radio show by Dr. Flanery. The special was to receive an x-ray and exam for the first family member at $40 and the second family member was to be free. Our insurance was charged $310 for me at Blue Cross and $310 for my daughter at United Healthcare. Since we also have coordination of benefits our insurances were billed for this as well for date of service 5-4-10. I have called and called. They have promised and told me that it was taken care of. Our insurances said no money has been returned (which is what has to happen) and a second billing was sent in for another exhorbidant amount & was considered double billing and not paid. These are unfair billing practices. We are being denied further chiropractic benefits, which we desparatly need, because Flanery's office overcharging has depleted our yearly dollar amount with our insurances.
