I visited the Fox Valley Lenscrafters on 6/16/10 for my 5:30 appt. I obtained there promptly and was informed to sit down in a waiting area. A girl got me and got me back again to the first examination area. She was type of manipulative. I stated that I needed a contact exam and he or she stated "which means you need the Complete Examination" after which proceeded to complete the first screening. I noticed the attention physician, who had been excellent, and was installed with my new contact Rx. Excellent. All-is great to date.
Then A same woman began getting really manipulative with my structures option. I have had spectacles because I was 8. I will handle selecting structures. I'm the kind who loves to not need salesmen bother me after Iam searching. LOL she should have been commission-based since she scowled each time I stated I'dnot spend significantly more than $150 for structures. Anyhow, I eventually selected structures she preferred and we visited do the paperwork. She held introducing items to the purchase to my contacts, like layer etc without asking me! The first whole for that spectacles was about $800! OMG. I eventually got her right down to what she mentioned was my "closing whole" of $388. I had been anticipating about $350-$400 for my statement because it's convienient to obtain the spectacles within an hour and become completed with it. I also desired to provide my eyes a rest from connections. That's also by what I settled the final moment I acquired new spectacles.
Anyway, she subsequently claims my whole is $536! Evidently, my "closing whole" did not contain my "extensive examination" which totalled $148! I had been anticipating the exam to become $75 to get a contact examination. Evidently, she added additional examinations without informing me.
