Blue Cross Blue Shield Dental Insurance
I got scammed, through internet, Not Good Hands with Blue Cross Blue Shield Evil Company

In January I broke a tooth and wanted a more comprehensive dental coverage then the one I already had through my company. I immediately thought of Blue Cross Blue shield because of their name recognition. I called them and spoke to a rep. The rep was excellent with sales and almost even sold me full health. He told me that because I was already under coverage with another insurance provider there would be no waiting period or anything with anything on my plan. He had me email him copies of my other policy card and everything. My tooth was not actually hurting me so just feeling in safe hands I did not immediately go out to get it fixed. I felt confident knowing I had coverage when I needed it. It recently started hurting really bad and so I went to a dentist to get the work done. I went to my appointment at 2:00 PM and the visit only took about 15 minutes. I was on the phone and dealing with the problem that Blue Cross created until 4:00 PM. The receptionist contacted Florida Combined Life and they told the receptionist that there was a problem with my policy so they could not cover any of the major items I needed covered ie. A Root Canal and a Crown. They told her I would have to wait for a year to get this coverage. I thought for sure they must have told her wrong so I borrowed her phone to make the call myself and they told me that the person that sold me the policy had screwed up my application form. They said they knew it was not my fault but he had screwed up and unless he or a manager changed it there was nothing they could do. So they transferred me over to Blue Cross Blue Shield who refused to do anything for me. They said there was nothing they could do for me. They said they could not fix my policy. They could not give me a refund. They said that if I canceled my policy I would not be able to re-enroll for two years. So just canceling it and re entering in the information correctly would not even be a possible issue. One manager told me she could possibly change my account to a different type of account and then update and fix the information. She then said after doing that she could then change it back to the maximum coverage I have now but that would not be something that she could even have active until possibly June 1st. I demanded to speak to her supervisor. She had somebody else call me back that didn't even want to offer me that option. They told me absolutely no refund and no correction of my account. They did tell me that the agent that sold me the account no longer works for the company. They do not want to absorb his mistakes. They want to screw me on my policy and not honor the verbal contract that he made with me while acting as a company representative. I made payments thus accepting the verbal contract and offer that he made with me while representing Blue Cross Blue Shield. Now Blue Cross Blue Shield is showing me I was in very bad hands to have them as an insurance company. I told the manager that this is a crime that they are doing. I promised to make sure somebody gets in trouble and somebody could even go to prison for this. This is insurance fraud! I really want a lawyer to contact me and represent me. I want media attention. I want to publicize this to the very best of my abilities. I will contact everybody I can from employers that use Blue Cross to updates on my facebook status. I want justice from Blue Cross. If they want to be known as a reputable company they need to treat me right. I will not lay down like other people that get taken advantage of. I will take all legal recourse methods available!
