In response to a television commercial, I picked up my telephone and called to order Hydroxatone Facial Creams, etc. They said it was a free trial, all you had to do was pay the shipping.
Toward the end of the recording they then go on to say that "it is a risk free trial for 30 days and then you are billed $62 more or less for each of the next two months. Well, from what I know about "free" trials, they do not bill you at the end of the month for the product. I promptly hung up my phone to cancel the order process.
I used my roommates debit card to pay the shipping fees. This is the next day and, for some unwarranted reason, they have charged my roommate's debit card $1.00 so far. They had no right to do that and I would like to know, since I did not give them the name of my roommate or her billing address, they were able to even charge that!
We are expecting from what I have read on their scam sheet for them to continue taking money that does not belong to them from my roommate's debit account. This will seriously affect her banking transactions and, not only do we want the dollar back, we want to be assured by Hydratone that this will not continue. They do not even give you a contact number on their websites so we can talk to them about it.
Apparently, they have done this to a lot of people and it needs to be stopped immediately!!!
