I bought a set of rimless spectacles, had them for 7 days, decreased them-and the contact smashed in two. I'm 50 yrs old and also have been wearing rimless spectacles for 25 years and not had this occur. The contactis are said to be polycarbonate plastic to endure the additional tension of the rimless style but just like a lot of things produced in china along with misleading marketing these spectacles are of poor quality and totally ineffective.
