Cenegenics
Dangerous, unethical and highly overpriced

Several years ago I noticed ads in various magazines aimed at higher income readers.in my case it was Sailing Magazine. The ad featured an almost miraculous looking transformation of a middle aged man with large gut sitting in a dejected posture next to a buff, almost "Hulk" like physique with the labels 50 and 70 years of age on them. The suggestion, for any man feeling less than adequate in any aspect of their lives including physical, is that by signing up for their program and taking a few harmless drugs, one could transform their body in to this heart throb for women and envy of other men.
I fell for it and signed up, paid the up front reservation fee and took the blood test. My health was quite good and my test results very good. I also spoke with my doctor in the meantime who warned me to stay clear of this sort of program because of the severe health risks and that far from being good medicine, this company was essentially peddling overpriced supplements and steroids. All with potentially serious side effects.
I chose to cancel my trip and sought a refund but unfortunately the company must have anticpiated many people like me and knowing they had a high probability of cancellations from people who did their homework... Too late... They had created a very secure contract that was pretty hard to defeat. I appealed to their professionalism (they do claim they are physicians after all) and was give a firm "no".in other words they got my money, using slick ads promising near miraculous results, and they were not about to give it up.
My guess is that much of their income derives from people like me who responded impulsively without having had a chance to do the prudent research and then too late changing their minds and the company keeps the substantial deposits.
My strong advice is that this is a high risk process, in spite of their lofty claims and that the serious side effects of their treatments will show up some years from now, just like the "Marlboro Man" but long after the founders have taken their ill gotten gains off shore, leaving their victims to die of various cancers and other gruesome aftermath.
As a 70 year old do you really want the body of that guy in the jeans? AS a 50 year old he was a loser and now as a 70 year old poster joke, he is equally pathetic. Will we live forever? Of course not. Are there ways to live more healthfully without taking the risks that a company like Cenegetics puts its patients through not to mention the Hulk sized fees too?
