Talk about stupid... I saw an ad for a tooth whitening system on a reputable website. I followed the links and read all the glorious promotion and "media supporters" for the product. There was a tray whitening system and a brush on whitener. The hook was that I would ONLY be charged for the shipping of the "free" samples. I filled out the form and gave my CC info. That same day I received a phone call from a employee of one of the companies. He said that the sample was on the way and the next month I would receive another order for the low price of $87.62. I told him very strongly that I only wanted the sample. After I received the sample, real fun began. Not only was I charged the $87.62 also charged $79.95. I called them immediately and they told me I had not ordered the products. They said I had to call them to cancel my "membership". I told them I had not enrolled in a membership and asked to speak to a supervisor. The rude employee said they weren't really a office, more like a magazine subscription service. Sad to say this wasn't over. I was billed again for the charges and a new charge was added. This was from Elitepack for $24.82. When I called them, he said I should have opted out from their program. This program too was a monthly "membership". I have never heard of them and hope I never hear from them again. Run run run. Don't order from these scam artists. My CC company has been very helpful in trying to dispute these unauthorized charges.
