Despite all the complaints, why is Dazzlewhite and Co still taking our money?
I am based in the UK and have also fallen foul of Dazzlewhite's selling methods. I actually read an article online (reprinted from what appeared to be a magazine) extolling the advantages of this product. I decided to order (what I thought was) a sample and the link took me to a web page. The rather-less-than-professional look of the web site should have alerted me to the fact that all was not as it should be (i.E. What it *should* be is a web site that makes it absolutely clear what a customer is ordering and ensures that you get only what you order).
A package arrived a couple of weeks later containing a tube of gel with no instructions regarding the product and no information on how or where to return the product. I was charged 7.46 ($12.34) for the small tube including postage to the UK. Although I considered the postage a little excessive I was not alarmed until my next credit card statement for the month of August arrived and I noted that two further charges had been made on my card: 35.83 ($52.14) paid to a 'TEETHWHITE' and later in the month a charge of 4.45 ($6.48) paid to 'HEALTHMEMBER' in Cyprus!
Everyone who is a regular user of the internet knows how infuriating it is for their e-mail address to be distributed around the globe for any spam merchant to flood your in-box, but distributing a customer's credit card details not only to other companies in the same country, but internationally, is poor business practice as well as dishonest. Even if this was not a scam (I believe it is) who would want to continue to deal with a company that used such methods? I have read several reports about this so-called company's methods and apparently there was some info. Buried in the small print on some (there appears to be more than one) web sites put online by DAZZLEWHITE. However, the web pages they use are so poorly laid out that it is easy to miss the small details. I am tempted to think that this is deliberate practice to confuse customers.

Who recently issued a rebuttal on usacomplaints.com site, if you are reading this and really do mean it when you say "satisfaction is our number one concern, " then please take note of the following: I have cancelled my credit card and my card company are investigating every reference to your company and its affiliates. I have also given them a list of the other companies that you may have distributed my details to and any approaches from them will be blocked.
Because i am disabled it is easier for me to order goods online and have done so for several years. This is the FIRST TIME I have had to cancel my credit card, so I am not usually taken for a mug by those seemingly only interested in making a fast buck. My advice to Dazzlewhite is if you wish to continue in business, go and find another way to run your company, like millions of others do. Also, let UK customers know how to cancel goods sent by you and any unauthorised orders from the other companies you have passed customers details to. Give UK purchasers a *UK-based* telephone contact number/e-mail address - you have enough of my money without me having to make transatlantic calls. Until I hear from your company I shall assume you are just one more greedy scam merchant and like the other good people on this site, warn as many people as I can to never to deal with you or your affliiates.
If I am able to cancel and no more attempts are made to charge my account, then I shall post the details here and let others know you are prepared to treat at least one customer's satisfaction as a priority.
