We moved to Palm Coast just recently. My cat got sick on a Sunday morning, and the only place open was Banfield. So, we went with an open mind. My cat paid the ultimate price for it. Turns out he was diabetic. He was lethargic and vomiting. His temp at arrival (10am) was 105. They admitted him. Gave me an estimate of almost $900. No big deal. You see I hated cats before I got him, and he totally changed my mind about cats. The veterinarian (I'm using the term loosely for this woman) left him in a cage without antibiotics, I.V. Fluids, and insulin until atleast 3:30pm. She should reread her Principles of Veterinay Medical Ethics handbook. Or next time she could be charged with animal cruelty. What kind of people do they hire there? BEWARE, please.
