I found what I thought was a great website for tanning lotions. I found a great deal on a lotion so I decided to order it and went through the checkout. The shipping cost was more than the lotion... Which I thought might mean the price of the lotion had been a misprint, but all the way through checkout it stayed the same price.
After about 5 business days I saw they had debited my checking account and then credited it back. I sent an email to the company asking the status of my order. I received an email back within 15 minutes saying that "Unfortunately one of the lotion (s) that you recently ordered are currently unavailable due to an unknown back-order status or they have been discontinued." which was a lie because I had just seen it on the website with a status of in stock but the price had been changed to alot higher.
I wrote back and told them that it wasn't unavailable or discontinued as they said, but they had apparently published the wrong price on the website and someone didn't proof read and catch their mistake. I said they should honor my order, which I had a confirmation for, and asked when it would ship. They told me that it was their right to cancel an order due to "Typographical Errors" and that my money had been refunded.
I determined that they must have enough business that they don't worry about customer service and making sure to keep the customer coming back, so they definately won't be getting any business from me!
