2. Know that when you first choose to submit to these businesses, you need to understand what happens. The first thing these businesses do is to request multiple authorizations on your credit card. You won't think anything strange, because these authorizations are only for about $1 or so. Why do they do this? So that when you call to change your credit card number they can still "force post" their transactions since they already have an approval code.
3. Know that your credit card company will do whatever they can to help you. But, since you "agreed" to this transaction, there are limitations to what they can do for you.
4. You should return any unused products to the manufacturer and request a return of receipt (for documentation purposes).
5. Understand you were taken and might not win in a dispute vs. These types of merchants.
