I was a Medicaid recipient of 2008 for Pregnancy. April 1 Medicaid paid them retroactively for services rendered in November & December.in October they say that Medicaid denied payment and then sent the account to collections. (Six months later! Medicaid ALWAYS gives an answer within 30 DAYS.) They NEVER notified me. I found out from looking at my credit report last month. So, my credit has a negative strike for something that has already been paid.
Of course I called the office to try and correct this matter, and the billing agent gave me the corporate office. "Oh, you can TRY and call, but I don't see what they can do." is what the lady told me.
How about admit that your company abuses Medicaid, and double bills patients to get paid twice for the same services?
