Misleading marketing and cancellation process

I ordered the 30 day free trial of PureCleanse Pro, and paid only s&h charges, about $5. According to the order confirmation I had 14 days from the date of order to cancel if I was not satisfied with the product. I received the product 9 days after ordering, and when I called on the 13th day was told I had to ship the remaining pills back to cancel the automated charge. After speaking with the customer representative, and questioning her on the process, I was directed to another website where the terms and conditions were listed stating I had to send the bottle back for refund. The terms and conditions were not on the order page. I shipped the emplty bottle back 8 days prior to the automated charge, having experienced only a 3 day mail delay to Iowa in the past. When the automated charge appeared I called the company and received a differnt story from a supervisor. Apparently I was to call back with a mail tracking number, paying more for this, so they could track my package. I was also told that it can take up to 3 weeks for the warehouse to process packages and enter the cancellation into the computer. They have since charged my account $59.95 for a product I did not find useful and had called to cancel. Now I am waiting for them to find my package and refund my money.

I advise anyone considering using this product to get a full understanding of how the "free trial" works before wasting their money.
