I have had a drinking problem since I was in the military in the 1980's it came to a head in the early 90's and after I got a DUI I looked for help! I went to Psychology and Counseling fot years they gave me some medication, and I talked to a Doctor there who was really helpful and I sobered up. I paid them thousands of dollars for there services but it was worth it I was sober!
Last year everything fell apart I lost my job after 18 years, found out my wife was cheating on me and I could tell a drink was very close,
The day I found out about my wife I called to set up an appointment (you always get a voice mail and they call you back) then while driving on I95 at 70mph they called me and said that they had an appointment later that evening and that I could have it! But that I would have to come in first, and pay $30 from I missed appointment years prior I said that I would bring it with me and that I felt like drinking and really wanted to see someone, she said "no" either pay first or no appointment since their office staff would not be their, and doctors could not take the money, I had no credit card on me, and no way to leave work too go pay her first, and they did not care they just want their money, within a short period of time I was drinking again thanks guys!!!
