Due to a move to Pennsylvania I chose this dentist for my 6 month check up and brought my x-rays from my dentist in New Jersey that had the determination of no cavities in them. When this dentist read the x-rays, she said she saw a tooth with some decay next to the filling that was already there. She scheduled me for an appointment to take care of this.
When she removed the filling, she apparently saw decay on the tooth next to it so she removed the filling from the second tooth and apparently removed decay from that tooth. She then looked at the same x-ray, that she had already looked at and said that three more teeth had decay on them and that she needed to remove the decay and put fillings in them. My dentist in New Jersey once told me that I was the type of person that would put him out of business because I had such good teeth. At this point I knew there was something wrong.
I called my dentist in New Jersey and they looked at the x-rays again and said there was NOTHING in those x-rays that indicated decay. I made a trip to my New Jersey dentist and he looked over my teeth and took another set of x-rays which again, showed nothing.
I am not sure if Dr. Khodzhayeva was trying to make money off of me or what, but needless to say, I will not be going back to her. I am stuck with a $300 dollar bill because of the work she already did that most likely did not need to be done.
