I caught them in the act, trying to pull an insurance fraud.
One of the women who was checking me out tried to tell me I needed to pay more out of pocket than I knew I really did. I had made other visits there recently and we both knew what my deductable was. There was no question about what she was trying to do. One day she just announced a much higher fee and was very obvious. She was actually looking into my wallet and said, "Would you like to put it on THAT MASTERCARD?"
I objected and called back later in the day but the same woman kept keeping me from talking to anyone else and became so inappropriate and obnoxious to the hilt that she was showing signs of serious mental illness. I had been a good, lucrative customer, but I fired them that day.
Later they even went so far as to report the ammount I didn't owe to a collection agency. I never got that completely straightened out, after spending hours trying to!
You don't need them.
