SFL Nutrition, LLC., Acai Berry Tea Plus, The Acai Berry Max Shop, Acai, Advance Wellness Center AcaiBerry Rip off Scam!

On January 11 I ordered AcaiBerry All Natural Cleansing Formula off the internet. I realize now that it was a huge mistake to place an order with this company because I have been billed multiple times under different company names all for the same product!

The offer was that I was to receive a 30 day trial supply for a $5.95 shipping charge. I was told that once I received my order that I had until January 26 to cancel if I was not satisfied with the product otherwise I would be billed an additional $88.62. Also unless I canceled the order I would automatically receive a fresh one month supply every 30 days for the total cost of $94.57 ($88.62 $5.95) per month billed to my credit card.

I received my order on January 23. The return shipping address was SFL Nutrition, LLC, 127 NW 13th Street, Suite 4, Boca Raton, FL 33432-1632. On the packing slip I was given a Customer Service number of 866-938-4832 to call and cancel my order. I was also given www.MyTrialSupport.com to contact if I wished to cancel. The packing slip indicated that I had 15 days from the date the product was shipped to cancel. The package was postmarked Jan. 19. So the first problem is that I should have had until February 3 to cancel the order instead of the Jan. 26 date that I was originally given but the problems did not stop there.

Since I had not even opened the bottle and obviously had not had time to properly evaluate the product before the Jan 26 cancellation date I decided to go ahead and cancel my order. This is where the problems started.

On Sunday, Jan 25 I went to their website (www.MyTrialSupport.com) which was supposedly set-up for for a "Live chat session" and entered my cancellation request including my order number. As soon as I submitted the request I got a message saying the the "chat" had ended.

Later that evening I received an auto response email from SCSSupport ([email protected]) saying my request had generated the following responses such as, "Where are the products produced?", "What is your privacy policy?" along with other subjects and at the bottom of the list, How do I cancel my order? Sorry but I thought that I had already done that! So much for their supposed "Live chat" to cancel my order!

On Monday Jan. 26 I called the 866-938-4832 number and I got an automatic recorded response saying that I had reached their Customer Support line and that a representative would be with me shortly but instead of being put on hold my call was disconnected. I called back and the same thing happened again. After numerous attempts I finally got through to the number and again got the automatic response and after being on hold for a time, received another recorded message saying that all their representatives were busy and to call back again in another hour. As a note, when you call the number it just says "thank you for calling Customer Support" but it never gives you the NAME of the company. That is definately a red flag to me.

Needless to say at this point I was getting very suspicious about this whole deal so I decided to check my bank account to see if any charges had been put through associated with this purchase. Surprise, surprise... There were multiple charges to my account from multiple "different" companies. My bank account had one charge for $5.95 and another charge for $. 18 that had already been paid on Jan 20 to "Acai" with an associated phone number of 866-964-1011. But there were two other charges listed as pending for $5.95 each, one payable to "AcaiBerry Tea Plus" at 877-300-3766 and another to "The AcaiBerry Max Shop" at 866-938-4832. I immediately contacted my bank to dispute the additional charges and was told that I should first contact the companies at the numbers given to see if they would reverse the charges. If they would not agree to reverse the charges I could then file a complaint with my bank to have the charges investigated and possibly reversed which is what I eventually ended up having to do.

I first call was to the one that had already been paid to "Acai" at 866-964-1011 and found out that it was actually a company called "Advance Wellness Research" supposedly out of London, England. They did sell AcaiBerry but claimed that I never placed an order with them; that they did not have any of my financial information; and that they had never charged anything to my bank account. They went on to claim that if they had that it would show up as being paid to Advance Wellness Research through a London bank. I asked them that if all that was true then "how did he think I got their telephone number in the first place?". I never got a response and the conversation went down hill from there. Since they would never admit to having charged anything to my bank account, they also would not agree to issue a reversal of the charges which I knew for a fact had already been paid by my bank.

I next called the supposed "AcaiBerry Tea Plus" at 877-300-3766. They said that they were the company that I had actually placed the order with and that they would accept my cancellation so that I would not be billed the additonal $88.62. I requested and was given a cancellation number but I am not holding my breath that it will mean anything. They claimed that they had not yet been paid the $5.95 for shipping which was the amount still pending with my bank. When I asked why I had been billed numerous times under different company names I could never get an answer out of them nor would they tell me the actual NAME of their company. They claimed not to know anything about the other companies or how they would have gotten my financial information.

My next call was to "The AcaiBerry Max Shop" at 866-938-4832. They also claimed that I had placed my order with them and that it was showing up as having already been cancelled in their system. When I asked them for the actual name of their company I was told that they didn't have to give out that information! Seems to me that by admitting that they knew my order had been cancelled, they by default were admitting that they were the same company as "AcaiBerry Tea Plus" and were thus guilty of submitting fraudulent duplicate charges to my bank.

It this point I gave up trying to work with any of these companies and filed a complaint with Bank of America to have the charges reversed. I was advised to cancel my debit card/credit card so that none of these companies could bill additional charges to my account. The bank representative said that she was very familiar with these "AcaiBerry" companies because they had already processed numerous compaints from other people that had the misfortune of doing business with them. She seemed quite certain that unless I cancelled my card I would most likely continue to have charges placed against my account under different company names because that is what had happened to other people.in other words this whole operation is nothing but a scam!

One other thing I would like to mention is that upon inspecting the bottle of "AcaiBerry All Natural Cleansing Formula" that I received, no where on the bottle does it tell you the NAME of the company that manufactured or packaged the product. I find that very strange to say the least! Needless to say I will not be using any of the product because for all I know the capsules could be filled with sawdust or something equally inappropriate. If they do not have enough confidence in their product to put their name on the bottle then I don't have enough confidence in their product to put it in my body.

I learned that they are extremely familiar with SFL Nutrition, LLC and the various AcaiBerry companies associated with them. They have received numerous complaints about them from other people. They are hoping to be able to compile enough information to turn the case over the Attorney General for prosecution. If you have been a victim of this scam please make a report to Mr. Dodson. These people need to have their illegal operation shut down permanently. DO NOT DO business with SFL Nutrition LLC!
