Signed up for trial sample of Acai Pure and Acai Power. The charges for the shipping hit my account the next day. Waited a couple of days and my wife did some digging and said to cancel the "membership" because of shady business practices. I sent email to cancel both (had to do each one separate per the order number). I received a confirmation email on both stating that it was canceled and no charges would show up. I was going to try and fight for the shipping charges, but didn't want the headache. Price for my stupidity I justified.
A couple of days later I get a charge on the account for Fit Factory. Thought my wife had joined something. She did not know what it was and she looked into it. They automatically enrolled me in the "membership" without permission. After quite an ordeal getting the right "company" involved they did cancel the "membership" and refunded the $29.95. I thought everything was all over!
Then this morning I get two charges for $39.95 each on the account for CCNutra. I was pretty pissed. I called them and told them to take off the charges (after on hold for 45 minutes). They said that they couldn't unless I return the product to them, then they would. I told them that I have no product to return. They guy on the phone was the rudest person I think I have ever talked to. He said that there was a delivery confirmation on the product. I asked if there was a signature for that and he said they only did delivery confirmation. I told him that means nothing. That does not show that the product arrived in my hands. He then said that you must live in a bad neighborhood and someone stole my mail. I told him I don't and he said then you must be a liar!
Now I'm really pissed! After mixing words with this jerk, he said I would have to file a complaint with the USPS and get a claim number and call them back and then they will give me my money back.
Got the delivery confirmation numbers was jerk face and called the post office. They said that only one of the packages was confirmed delivered. Either jerk face gave me the wrong number or it hadn't been delivered. Told the post office that I would like to start a claim, they said they would report it, but could not start a claim because the company did not insure the package.
So, jerk face new that this was the case and just told me bad information so he wouldn't have to deal with me.
As a precaution, I had to destroy my credit card (debit) and have the bank re-issue me a new number because they have had issues similar to this before and people will still get hit with charges. I now have to file a fraud complaint through my bank to get my money back which could take up to 60 days.
Stay away from them!!!
