Slick George Klause does it again!
Mr. Klause has done it again! This time has defrauded us for $4,500 on the purchase of an adjustable bed from Sleepinergy at the Los Angeles County Fair last September.
My wife and I made the purchase believing that the exhibitors at the L.A. County fair in Pomona are reputable and honest business
When we came back to our place in San Mateo, we realized that the size of the bed was not compatible with the rest of the furniture so we called Mr. Klause to cancel the order. Slick George reassured that he would have immediately credited the amount into our account with American Express and that we should see the money in our account with the next statement. When we realized that the credit had not been not executed, we called Mr. Klause and this time we were told that he, personally, would go to the office and immediately credit the total amount into our account.
Again, we believed his story until we received the next statement from Amex. When I called again, this time Mr. Klause told us that it was American Express' problem as he had executed the transfer the day he told us so! A day later, he changed his story and told us that because of the 60 day deadline, the transfer did not go through with Amex and that he would use PayPal to reimburse us our money.
Mr. Slick George is a professional thiefhe forged a Pay Pal page and fax it to us to convince us that he had done his job! Except, when we called PayPal the operator did NOT find any sign of that transaction
We are prosecuting Mr. Klause legally as we believe that people like him should be in jail and not on the street, even less present at a reputable public event, like the Los Angeles County Fair! We are also disappointed with American Express, which literally washed its hands with a 28 years old customer because we reported the fraud after 60 days.
This is not the end, however, for Mr. Klause, who still believes that he can get away with stealing by lying
Finally, I must say that, having investigated on Sleepinergy on the web. And finding usacomplaints.com on Mr. Klause and Sleepinergy, was crucial for us to discover this fraud and to identify Mr. George Klause as this thief who believes he can get away with ripping honest people off. I wonder whether FBI should get involved with this series of frauds
