Got totally taken in by this rip off website. Thought I was just paying for the freight on my FREE samples (I guess nothing is FREE to try) and I didn't notice the fine print about them charging you $69 after 14 days if you don't call to cancel and the $29 for FitFactory.com which is not mentioned on their site except in the fine print.
Well, exactly 14 days after I ordered my free samples, I got charged the $69. Actually the payment is still pending. You see, I used my Paypal Credit Card plug-in that generates a "single use" credit card number to make purchases online.
You would think that that "single use" credit card number would only be able to be used for the initial freight charge, but as I found out, it can be used up to 4 time by different vendors. It just can't be used more than once from the same vendor. Maybe that's why the charge is still pending.
I don't know, all I know is that Paypal can't do anything until the transaction is complete and then I can file an unauthorized use report. I did learn that you can manually close a "single use" card after your initial transaction goes through, that way nobody can use that card again. Of course that's what I thought "single use" meant, silly me.
Hopefully on the 21st day after the order (in 2 days), when I get charged for the FitFactory.com, which I still don't understand how they can charge you for something totally unrelated to what you ordered, the charge won't go through since I closed the use of that card.
I tried calling them to cancel the order but only got a recording and was put on hold for a very long time. I tried cancelling online and even with having 2 of the requirements to locate my order, it wouldn't find any order.
This website is a total rip off. Hopefully their charge won't go through or Paypal Credit can help me get it back. One thing I do know is that they can't charge me again with that card number and for that alone I thank the lord I use my Paypal Credit card plug-in.
Oh and to top it off, I don't think their product works at all. It was a total waste of time and money.
