I ordered the Acai Berry product (free trial supposedly) on November 2nd. It is now November 20th and I have not received my sample.
I started to be suspicious because even though I am in Canada, I have ordered other items that I have received within 3 weeks - so when I did a search, I see there are a number of other complaints about this particular company.
I have tried to call several times over the last few days - tonight I was in fact successful, and I obtained a confirmation number that my order is now cancelled, but the person I spoke to told me that not only has my VISA card been charged with the first $89 US, but that a second charge will be processed as well (the every 7 days stipulation - isn't it odd they would do that when each order is supposed to last you for a month?). Why would they be able to charge you for the second shipment within 7 days?
When you read the fine print, yes, apparently they are entitled to do this, but I don't even have the first sample, let alone the second, and it just smacks of a complete scam. I wouldn't want to use the product even if I do eventually receive it.
