The following letter I sent to Performance Health, pretty well sums it all up; in addition, I kept a log of my calls and e-mails to them:

I finally received the above unauthorized order today in my mailbox. I am returning it to you unopened and requesting/requiring a signed receipt from you. I am attaching this letter and attachments to the unopened package and placing it inside a small box; with RMA #s on the outside of the box. To date I have not received the sample that I paid for ($1.87) either. (I received the small package in this afternoon's mail in a plastic bag in my mailbox, at around 1:45 PM! If the acai is that expensive, {$78.33, for what I am guessing is about 30 Acai Berry Supplements, from the sound and feel of the bottle inside the plastic packaging}, why would you send it USPS First Class Mail and not have it signed for? That doesn't even make good business sense, but I have a good idea now at what you are trying to pull on us consumers; that is why you don't list a physical address!)
I am requesting that I be reimbursed for the sample of $1.87 that I did not receive, and the unauthorized shipment, that I did not authorize to have debited from my checking account, of $78.33, for a total of $80.20 to be reimbursed to me ASAP.
I find your practices to be very unethical, to say the least, and I know that I am not the only one you have done this to; the internet is full of complaints about your company and its unethical practices. I only wish that I would have checked into your company beforehand! I entrusted you to just send me a sample and debit the S&H for it ($1.87) from my account; not to debit a full shipment ($78.33)! That is highway robbery, and for something you just require sending in the regular mail! What you did was unconscionable, to say the least!
I am a senior citizen, and ordering this product for the extravagant amount you charge is not something I would do as I am on a fixed income. I would also not order it because I never even received the sample to try it first! I EXPECT TO RECEIVE FULL REIMBURSEMENT ASAP FOR THE $80.20; E-MAIL ME WHEN YOU HAVE DONE SO. YOU WERE NOT AUTHORIZED TO DEBIT FROM MY ACCOUNT TO BEGIN WITH, AND ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO DEBIT FROM MY ACCOUNT AT ANY TIME IN THE FUTURE!!!
