I responded to a web ad for a sample of Acai berry formula and gave my credit card number, authorized ONLY for the charge of sample postage on credit card on the web.
I got an email with no return address, confirming that I ordered the trial bottle of PureAcaiBerry from Performance Health and was billed $4.87 for postage. That arrived last week. The formula has ingredients my system does not tolerate and I did not want to order more. So I did not sign up for additional product or auto shipments.
I just received a larger bottle that I did not order. I went on the web to find the company web site, but it is gone. I did find a number of complaints from other people who got unauthorized shipments and could not stop the charges on their credit cards. #371691 on your site too.
I tried to contact the company. The phone rings but no one answers until the operator disconnects the line. There is no e-mail to respond to. This is obviously a scam, and not a reputable operation since they effectively block communications. I expect to have a charge on my credit card next week, and will pursue the issue with the credit card company then.
