I was offered to use a Green Tea Cleansing product from Green Tea Pill Power.com. Unknown to me, this company has two websites. I found this out when I goolged this company as a result of an unauthorized debit on my bank statement. One website gives you details that include the 'after trial period' cancellation policy of the product. The other site is a short brief website that you click onto from your email page. The email version that I ordered from, gave information about the product however, the wording simply says 'free trial, try now for just $3.95 shipping charge'.
This site did not clearly state any cancellation penalties opposed to the official website that did. As a result, 14 days later I was billed $89. I called the company. I was put on hold for a long period the first time, the second time I was put on hold and then disconnected. I finally spoke to a customer service rep after the third attempt. I was told I could not get a refund because the cancellation policy is explained on the website. I then told the customer service rep about the 2 different sites. She put me on hold. When she returned she agreed to refund me without explaining why and cancel my subscription. I will see in 72 hours if I'm refunded, but until then I want to report this company so that others are aware of their misleading practice.
