This is a very frustrating situation for me. I thought I was ordering ONE tape here. There were several pop-ups while I was ordering (should have given me a clue), asking did I want to add this or that, and each one I responded "NO" to.
Got the tape... Hated it. I enjoy workout tapes that are good quality and easy to follow, this one was neither. But I figured @ $9.99 it was a lesson learned.
Then 2 months later, I got 3 more tapes and some resistance bands in the mail. I thought maybe it was a mistake, so I called the company (after having to search their website for the phone number) and was told I was an active member of some club now. Told the guy (interesting, whenever I try to cancel something, the person on the other end is foreign and we have a bad connection, so it's hard to understand what they are saying... This happened with AOL and BMG in the past too) to CANCEL this whacky club. He said (I think) that if I wanted to return the stuff I would have to pay the shipping myself, and would need to call a different phone number to get some sort of authorization number to do so. An investigation showed me that I would have to spend well over $10 in shipping, on top of the $26 they had charged for the tapes and bands to return them, so I decided to ebay the stuff and cut my losses (which didn't work, apparently nobody else wants these crappy tapes either, so there went ebay fees on top of it!).
WELL... Yesterday... You guessed it! In checking my bank account, I see a new charge from Crunchless Abs. I haven't even gotten a new set of tapes yet. I called again, spoke to another foreign guy on a bad phone connection, and he looked up my info and told me I am still active in the club! He offered me $5 off to stay in the club, and I laughed so hard... Told him the tapes suck and I want out... And I want my money refunded. Couldn't understand his response, so who knows if THAT will happen.
All I know is this is a frustrating and misleading company. If you want to check out the workout, do NOT order from their website. I can give you a great deal on a set of tapes — only one has ever been opened! Oh... And a resistance band as well!
