I received a small book in the mail from Deer Creek Products Inc, I was very interested in some of the vitamins they where selling. So I mailed in the order and placed the cost toward my credit card. I was billed later on my credit card, but I never received any items.
I watch the mail for about a month, and still didn't receive any items. So once my credit card bill came the number was posted on the stub. So I called the company, they had me on hold long distance for one and half hours. So I called back and pressed the botton for the operator, she said she would have to connect me to customer service. Well once again I was on hold for an hour, and no one called.
So I called the post office to see maybe if the items had gotten lost or stolen from the mail. The post office requested a tracking number, she told me they use it to find lost items. I called the company again, and got the operator and explained to her that I would need a tracking number. Once again she switched me over to customer service that had me on hold for 30 min long distance.
This company is a pure rip off, the total of the items I ordered was 37.80. And "NO" it's not a large sum of money, but it just the principle of the matter. They never planned on sending the orders, and they probably have collected monies from millions of customers. My 37.80 is just a small portion of a large sum of money that they have stolen from folks.
They probably figure that eventually I would let the issue go, and they can continue to rip others off. That's the problem now one had ever did anything about the scam, the rip off. But me I'm going to do something because I don't like being taken advantage of at all. Thanks for your services.
