In December I placed at order at www.Aclepsa.com and it was billed on my debit/credit card from "QualityGenerics.com" in the amount of $39.00. The order was supposed to be delivered in 7-10 days. I waited 14 days, as it was the holiday and figured shipments were delayed, and checked the progress on the website, with the Tracking # that they had emailed me. The status of my order at that time was "SHIPPED" and I waited one more week.
At that time, January 13th; I submitted an email to the Customer Support feature on the website, requesting a refund, as it has been almost 4 weeks since I placed my order & I had not received anything. They wrote back the following day and informed me that there may have been a problem with shipping through customs, as the shipment was coming from India. The email stated that my shipment would be reshipped and should around in 1-2 weeks, and it would include a $25 gift certificate off of my next purchase.
On February 4th I attempted to contact the company again, however at that time, I was not able to LOGIN to the website, my account had been "updated" and my login information was under new security features. I had to request my password & verify all of my personal information. I received my new login information in my email & logged into the website. Upon entering my order number, to track the status, it stated that the "order could not be found."
I called the company and they told me that with the server upgrades, some information had been lost, but they verified that my order had been shipped and was due to arrive within the next few days.By the end of February I still had not received my order, so I contacted the company again. I left my name & number on the automated machine, and sent them an email. No one called me back, and I received thed exact same automated email reply that I got the first time, my order was being reshipped, and I'd get a gift certificate.
At the end of March I called the company again, this time a foreign man who barely spoke english answered my call and informed me that the company had changed ownership, and all of my information had been lost in the transaction. He told me to contact my bank for a full refund.
I contacted my bank and they informed me that legally, they can not get my money back, after 60 days from the initial transaction. If I had contacted them before February 13th, they could have filed a claim against the company, and that the company is probably aware of the time limit and that is why they delayed refunding my money & insisted upon reshipping my order.
