(Me - after astounded silence) "You want to KILL an otherwise perfectly healthy cat because I can't pay you TONIGHT!?"
(Tiffany) Let me give you a number.
She gave me the number to the Sarasota Veterinary Emergency Hospital - where, upon learning of the situation, the DVM on duty (James Spiezio) slammed the phone down when I asked to speak to someone who *could* make the decision on payment terms.
If this individual has any aspirations to moving into other parts of veterinary practice after getting off the front desk... DONT! That's probably how Dr. Spiezio got his start.
If this goes nowhere... People... Know who your vets are. If they're not interested in your pets, they have no right to hold their license.
Think about your pediatrician. Would you expect that treatment if you couldn't pay up front for your kid's bladder infection?
*Unemployed for a year, and starting a new job in three days, I could pay in full in two weeks.
