Kenny Clinton Price Rip Off, Bad Service, Horrible Stylist

I arrived for my appointment which I made VIA telephone for a hair color change. I was told that Kenny Clinton was the best that Zena's had to offer, since once being awarded Baltimore's Best Hair Colorist & Zena's Being awarded the best of Baltimore Multi Cultural Salon.

I was quoted a price of $95.00 for my color over the telephone. I was also told that this would be a wonderful experience by the young man, Sean, who made my appointment.

To my dismay, I arrived at my appointment 15 minutes early however Kenny did not arrive into the salon until 15 minutes after my appointment was scheduled. I can understand running late however as Kenny was doing my hair his un professionalism came out. Kenny started speaking to another stylist as to the reason he was late. It seems that Kenny was having sex with another man whom he met off of the Internet and "Zena's Could Just wait"

After sitting in an very uncomfortable situation and getting my hair done, I was horrified at the color it turned out. I am a light blond who wanted low lights, what I got was a horrible shade of some creation I will call mud. I told Kenny I was dissatisfied and he made the comment "It will grow on you"

Once again, I stated that I was unhappy with the color, he said that he did not have the time to fix the color today since his next two customers were waiting in the waiting room. I guess an afternoon of sex will do this to a person.

I was told once again this would cost $95.00 by Sean upon making the appointment. Kenny had the audacity to charge my credit card $135.00. Do not get me wrong. I would graciously pay this for something that pleased me however being gouged like this was wrong. DEAD WRONG.

To make a long story short. I was over charged, made to wait and did not get what I wanted. When I stated my dissatisfaction to Zena, the owner, she said that Kenny would have to refund my money since the stylists are employed by themselves and she could not offer me a refund. This is a place called Zena's.

I do not recommend this salon to anyone. The employees are rude, the owner is rude and they over charge for under service. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and received a refund 30 day's after I had my appointment only by going through my bank's credit card department for goods not received.
