I was trying to buy prescription drugs on line and this company was listed as a source and had the cheapest price for the flexaril I was trying to buy. When I went to their website all I found was an enrollment form which requested a credit card, which I gave, thinking it was needed for charging the flexaril. When the enrollment was accepted I was sent to a screen that told me I had just paid $69.99 for a 90 day membership, which was more than the cost of the one-time use I had for using this site.
When I tried to cancell my enrollment I could not find a phone number or e-mail address, but I did go to the terms of the agreement and a section about cancellation, addressing various reasons for cancellation, about three different scenarios. The answer to each scenario was CANCELLATION DENIED. I learned there was a cheaper 30 day membership that had not been mentioned, but that was also DENIED. The only form of cancellation was to declare that I did not want to be re-enrolled in 90 days. Then I learned that the same medication was available through Walgreen's for a similar price to what was listed and many of the prices listed for other companies were actually much more expensive than Walgreen Prices.
There was also a statement threatening to hold me responsible for their legal expenses if I were to try to contest the charges and another threat to ban me from purchasing anything again on the internet if I disputed the charges and how they had a legal team in place that would refute any such attempt.
Simply outrageous.
I should have read all the fine print before I got into this but I was in a rush to get the medication for my daughter and I've never had anything like that happen when I made an honest mistake on the internet.
They also captured my ISP address so they can supposedly track my returning to the site. For purposes of contesting these charges I have not gone back to the site.
