On 01/10/08 I ran across an add to try Colon Cure for the price of shipping only. I entered my info and thought that was a great deal. I knew my card would be charged the $3.95 shipping and that was okay.
On 01/24/08, my card was charged again by NuBodi (for Colon Cure) in the amount of $87.31. I had attempted many times to contact them at 801-208-7485 and couldn't seem to get through... At that point, I wasn't even sure what the company was that charged my card.
Early February, I received my sample bottle of Colon Cure. I hadn't even opened it. Nothing else accommpanied the package... Just the bottle of Colon Cure. Within two days, I received two more bottles of Colon Cure.
Now, very confused, I continued to contact the number offered on the bottle and my credit card statement (I used online services to obtain my statement info).
Today, 02/12/08, I finally reached a live person at what I found to be NuBodi, the call center for Colon Cure. The female that answered the phone was not very helpful and basically stated they could't refund my money as I apparently only had 14 days from the time of the order (not receipt of the product, but the placement of the order) to call and cancel otherwise, I was considered in agreement with the (so-called) terms and they charged me for a months supply... Or something to that effect.
I offered to return all three bottles as they are unopened and again, there was nothing she could do. I requested to speak to a supervisor.
Aaron was apparently the supervisor on duty and took the call. Talk about rude. He stated there was nothing they could do, absolutely NO refund was allowed and again, he stated the same terms the female stated earlier. I only had 14 days to cancel from the time the order was placed and that since I hadn't called to cancel, I was then charged this second amount.
I asked to talk to someone even higher than his position and he stated that he was the highest as he was the supervisor of that call center. He wouldn't offer his last name, the location of the call center and refused to state his employer. He became angry and threatened to disconnect if I asked one more time. He then offered the companies address in Las Vegas, NV. He was extremely RUDE and wasn't willing to offer any positive information at all.
I feel as though I was truly ripped off... I didn't see those terms he discussed. He stated a page was in the package of the first bottle of Colon Cure... It had the terms on it. One, it wasn't enclosed in my package and two, the package came after the second charge was placed on my credit card. I now have 3 unopened bottles of Colon Cure and want all of my money back in return of this product. I don't even want to try it.
