I chose this place because I have no dental insurance. I went because I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years, and I simply wanted a check-up and a cleaning.
I don't feel like explaining the whole story, but let's just say I agree with everying else people have said about long wait times (I was in the dental chair for four hours&they were operating on others while operating on me) and general unprofessional—ness.
The main point is that I am 98% sure that they drilled into HEALTHY TOOTH and that I did not need fillings. They told me I had 8 cavities, and I believed them because I did not think a dentist would lie to me. I also thought that maybe my teeth had suffered because I had not been to the dentist in several years.
However, I consulted several dentists afterwards and they told me that it would be EXTREMELY UNUSUAL for ANYONE to have that many cavities, let alone someone who has good oral hygeine (I brush my teeth well and use listerine twice daily). They were also suspicious because I have NEVER had a cavity before in my life.
I have tried to sue, but it is too difficult to prove with all certaintly that these cavities did not exist.
As of now, I have a little bit of pressure and hot/cold pain but nothing too serious. I can only hope that there are no other consequences from this.
By the way, they never cleaned my teeth.
Please do not go to this place! It is not worth it!
