I have had a very negative experience at the pediatric dentist office of Dr. Greenleaf and Moore. Dr. Greenleaf and his companies billing practices are unjust. I have been a long time loyal customer and all three of my children have seen him for years. Recently, I pulled my credit Reports and found a paid collection of $86.00 dollars. I spoke with thier business office several times regarding the issue, most recently on 1/14/08, explaining that I had never recieved the bills as I went through a divorce and my x wife living just 4 house down from me on the same street had been recieving the bills. I never new anything about them. I reminded thier office that I immediately paid this bill as soon as I was made aware it was due. There office even sent me a letter stating that if I took this last opportunity to pay this bill in full, they would not proceed with collections. I did just as they asked and paid the bill to thier office directly and they still reported the account to a collection agency they employ (central credit solutions). This was absolutely unfair and has negativly affected my credit score and ability to recieve credit. I simply asked them to please contact the collection agency and direct them to completely delete the collection from the collection agency and supply me with a copy of the letter as this account was turned over to them in error. I had paid my little $86.00 dollars directly to thier office as agreed. They promised not to proceed with or assign the bill with the collections agency.
I have explained the circumstances over and over to them and they agree but then state there is nothing they can do. What an "I could care less about you my customer attitude). I asked the robots working in the business office how they could treat a long time loyal customer like this over this simple misunderstanding. I did not get an answer. After spending $1000's at thier business, I will likely now not be able to refinance my home as they act like assisting me in this matter is delicate brain surgery. It sickens me. They simply have no empathy and apparently enjoy hurting the very customers that support them. My families patronage over the years means nothing. What a nice company! I have recieved the endless run around over this. Greenleaf and Moore refer me to the collection agency (central credit solutions) because "there is nothing they can do", the collection agency refers me to the credit bureaus and they in turn refer me back to the collection agency and Greenleaf and Moore pediatric dentistry. I plan on notifying every consumer advocacy group possible. If you are looking for an emapathetic dentist office for your kids, stay away from this one.
