Nothing is free in this world no matter ho friendly the sales pitch.
Free trial was not free. Like so many others, I called for the free trial & paid the shipping fee of $9.95 for two stamps but I KNEW I was paying for my 'free' sample with that $9.95. If the product worked, I'd be more than happy to be a repeat customer and keep right on paying. What I didn't know was:
A) the product does not work
B) the company knows the product does not work
C) the company ships your 'membership' product before you have a chance to try the free sample
D) the company conitues to ship $60 batches to you AFTER you cancel your 'membership'
Once you get charged that first $60 for some awful-tasting listerine-esque breath strips that do less for your Johnson than a cold shower, you freak out a bit. "Will this happen every month?" I thought. I contacted them right away and told them I canceled the day I received the 'free' shipment, which is true. That didn't matter to them. They had sent the other shipment before I received the first shipment. I shipped back the $60 batch (along with the unused 'free' sample) via Fed Ex so it could be tracked and authenticated as delivered. I included a scathing letter letting them know I'd be watching for my partial refund. Of course, they'll keep the $9.95 shipping that equates to about $0.65 in postage. I accepted that as a penalty fee for my own stupidity. I checked today - no refund. I called them. They say they have 30 days to refund your money. I asked "Yeah? Who says you have 30 days to refund MY money?" "It's our policy." they say.
Scumbags. Every one of them.
