Per my visit to Orlando Plastic Surgery Center's office to have a Botox treatment, I am very unsatisfied with the results. My first visit approximately 1 years ago I received 1cc of Botox and after 10 days I had full movement in all of the areas treated. THE BOTOX DID NOT WORK AT ALL! I returned and Dr. Pope agreed that it must have been a BAD BATCH OF BOTOX and that I should not have had any of that movement and treated me with 1cc again. After 3-4 days the results were very evident and there was no movement in any of the areas treated. I was extremely satisfied with the results of the second attempt and the results lasted for about 6-8 months.
However per my previous visit last month I was again treated in the same areas with 1cc and after 1 week I saw no results and if anything at all I had 3 lines formed in between my eyes rather than the 1 faint line that I was concerned with. Now I have a look of devil horns and my eyebrows have full movement.
Also I specifically stated each area I was concerned with one being between my eyes also known as the frown line and the areas over my eyebrows and crows feet. I even made the comment that I wanted no movement and to look like a deer in the headlights so that is was very clear as to what I was trying to achieve.
Dr. Pope administered the Botox in these areas and did not recommend any other type of treatment or that any extra Botox would be needed to achieve the results that I was hoping for. He also made the comment that this procedure would give me such a youthful appearance. IT DID NOT!
I also had a brought a friend in with me for a consultation and she had the Botox as well and she had no results either. So that just proved that it was not only I myself that was having the same problem. After the 2nd cc that he gave her she still has full movement as well. IT DID NOT WORK!
When we returned after the week of no results, we were given the run around that possibly we needed to have more Botox meaning more than 1cc. Being that Dr. Pope is an expert in this field we had put our trust into his expertise and that in fact 1cc would be plenty. We were also treated as if we were a hassle and we were looking to get free Botox, which was clearly not the case at all. I was only trying to get what I paid for and that was results. Dr. Pope made the comment that he could not keep giving us free Botox, which I clearly remember paying $300 for with a $50 off coupon. And Heather paid the full amount of $350.00. That to me is not considered free.
After he examined the areas he gave some excuses and contradicted everything he had said in the previous appointment. And then mentioned perhaps we needed to have more than 1cc from now on. WHICH MEANS $350 PER 1 CC AND THAT HE IS OUT TO MAKE MORE MONEY! Again he is the expert so I would think if that was the case it should have been brought to our attention during the first appointment. So he offered to give us of a cc, which half of ran down my FACE AND WAS NOT INJECTED so I am sure that I may have received about a of a cc this time around which again DID NOT WORK.
After consulting with another physician I was told that perhaps the Botox was being diluted with higher amount of saline and that is why it was not working properly. Or that it was again another bad batch! OR POSSILBLY PHONEY CHEAP KNOCK OFF BOTOX!
Regardless, neither my friend nor I have any type of results, except that I have 3 lines that are distinctive rather than the 1 faint line that I had to begin with. We are both extremely unsatisfied with the way we were treated by the staff during the second appointment and with results that we did not receive. We are regretful that we spent the time on 2 occasions and money on absolutely nothing.
I have referred many customers to Dr. Pope for many procedures prior to this and I feel that we were both treated unfairly due to whatever the cause was that we did not get any type of results from this procedure.
I do realize that some people have high expectations of some procedures, but like I said before I explained exactly what I wanted and it was clearly obtainable per Dr. Pope on the first visit last month.
Now my friend and I have to once again pay for another round of Botox injections through another physician that can achieve the results that we had intended on receiving. Mine being not only to paralyze the muscles that I was concerned with from the first appointment but now to correct the 3 devil horns that I incurred from the second round.
I thought this should be brought to your attention of anyone out there looking for a Doctor to do BOTOX! Some doctors are using off brand botox, It has not been a pleasure wasting my time or my money on this and I am 100% unsatisfied with Orlando Plastic Surgery Center, Dr. Pope and his rude staff!!!
