Like the other complaintants, I was prompted on-line to provide information so I could recieve a "FREE" sample of the White Overnite bleach and appliance. I received the "FREE" sample, and later, received two more packages. Not expecting them, and not knowing what was in the brown paper packages with a return address of Fulfillment, I opened them.
When I got my VISA bill, I had two charges on 5-13 for $106.90 each. On 6-6, I returned the two packages, paying the postage ($2.31), I have a receipt from the USPS. Just before the 4th of July, I recieved another package from them.in order to try to find a phone number or website address, I had to open the package. There was no phone number, and the website that was on the post card enclosed, would not come up on the web. I called my Visa company and they provided the correct number, website, and from the correct website, I found a toll free number.
The people answering the phones do so for several different companies. When I didn't get satisfaction from the first person, I asked to speak with her supervisor, Toni Smith. She was at lunch, would call back, well, today, after many attempts and queries as to who her superior was, I finally talked to her and she said that since I had filed a formal dispute with my Visa company, she would do nothing for me. Words were exchanged, and she hung up on me. I called back to request her superiors name and number, and was informed that that information could not be passed on to me.
This is a total SCAM, which sounds like its customer service representatives titles should be changed to "phone answerers who cannot and will not help you".
I am disabled on SSI and would never have knowingly given my CC info for anything like this, I still don't know which link I got hooked onto so that I can inform them of this companies practices... HELP and if I can, I will be happy to provide whatever additional information you would like.
