Same story as Jim and Brandi's report exactly. Warner Health Care has this scam down pat. I saw the ad on t.V. And went to the website for more info. Saw that the free sample came with a $4.50 shipping charge. Used a bank debit card to make the transaction for the free sample.
The free sample arrived and two weeks later another package came. I thought they made a mistake and sent two free samples accidently. I set the second one aside and forgot about it until two more weeks went buy and another package came. This time I checked to see if they had been debiting my account for these packages. Yes, to my surprise, were two charges for $35.00, a total now of $74.50 for this free one-time sample. If you add it up... A twelve month supply is $420.00
I had the same hassle over the phone with Brenda at ext. 2520 and was told there were no supervisors to speak with. I sent a fax explaining to the 513-985-# number and never received a response, of course.
Fed up... I called the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION and they filed a report and told me to also call my STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE where I also filed a complaint. I have also called the bank to start the charges dispute process. I have returned the two packages and a certified letter and will know more in the days to follow whether I will be fully refunded or not.in THE MEAN TIME... You also need to call the ftc and file a complaint... THE MORE COMPLAINTS, THE MORE LIKELY THERE WILL BE SOMETHING DONE
