I recieved an email about a free bottle of Metabofuel it indicated that you need only pay the shipping and handling of $4.87. I thought it was a great deal and did it. Two weeks later I had an unknown charge on my debit card for 207.85. I am a single mother and work my $%* off to pay my bills. Had my landlord cashed my rent checked I would have been bouncing checks all over town.
I contacted the company and spoke to Janet, employee number 0504. This woman is extremely incompetent. I had to spell my first name to her 6 times. When I explained the situation all she kept saying was that she did not understand my complaint. Stupid b%$*h!!! She then proceeded to tell me that I had authorized the shipment of 4 more bottles and that was what the charge was for. Never in a million years would I have agreed to pay for anymore of that crap and that is exactly what I told her. I indicated to her that the package had been refused and was on it's way back to them. She told me I should not have done that because I would not be getting my money back.
When I asked to talk to a supervisor she put me on hold for approximately 5 minutes and came back and explained that the supervisore was "unavailable". I told her I would hold. She said the supervisor would not be talking to me today and that the information she gave me was correct.
I then told her that I would be contesting the charges with my bank, I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau and they would be receiving a letter from my attorney. She then indicated that I would be contacted within 48 hours by a supervisor. I told her that if I was not I would follow through with what I had previously explained.
I do not expect to be contacted by anyone at this fraudulent company. Hopefully my bank will be willing to help me. If not I guess I am out the 207.85 but will certainly change my debit card number so this piece of crap company gets no more from me. Any suggestions please email.
