A few weeks ago I went through the steps to order a "free" computer. One of these was to order a trial sample of TruGenix Hoodia. I used this for a few days and then decided to return the product so that I wouldn't be charged for the full supply later on.
Two days after returning the samples I received a full supply and my bank account was debited. Also, there was no document of any kind enclosed with the product.
I called the company and was told that I had not correctly followed the procedure for returning and cancelling. I told them that no instructions or document of any kind had been enclosed with the product. They told me that it is all on the website that I ordered the product from, which I never had visited.
The problem is that I never ordered it from their website. I was following steps toward the "free" computer and was doing all of this indirectly, never being taken to the TruGenix website. I assumed that the computer people had an affiliate relationship with TruGenix and would make sure that the right information went to them.
Also, I returned the samples within a few days and it couldn't have been too late to cancel.
I was refused a reversal of the charges and was told to just "keep and enjoy" the product that I was sent. ONE bottle of pills for $50!
I'm basically unemployed right now and I certainly can't afford to be ordering things like this!
The icing on the cake is that a DVD was also included and now another $30 charge showed up yesterday in addition to the $50 charge. So I'm out $80 with total refusal for reimbursement and they have their DVD back which they are charging me for!
I'm very short on patience with telemarketers these days and there is no offer good enough to entice me any more.
