Back in September or October of I went to ABetterMedical supply and told them I needed a lymphedema pump. Gave her my prescription for it. She said she had one just laying around in the back give her time. Finally about a week or so later I went in and she found it for me. It was missing a leg, had been previously used but she said it would do till she ordered me a new one or ordered me a leg. However, I needed 2 full legs, not partials. I kept popping in there and reminding her. Nothing happened. Finally in January, her assistant Crystal called me wanting my billing information for my insurance company. United Health Care. I gave it to her a bit unwillingly, and reminded her that I did not have a full unit and that needed to be taken care of before she even billed them. According to my insurance company, she submitted a bill to them right after that, with no reguard for the fact I couldn't even use the machine. I have never used it waiting on 2 full legs to go with it. I keep telling her I am bringing it back and she says no, no, I will order your legs for you. She never has, and now I have recieved a second bill from her. I got the first one last month, I called the store and talked with her assistant Crystal again. I told her that I do not have a full unit, that they need to take it back as they never honored what they promised to do. She said ok she would tell Lisa, the owner. No one ever called me back. Today I recieved the second bill. Again I called, and of course they have caller ID and won't answer. I left a message but I know I will not hear from her yet again, till the next bill. They are billing me for $5500.00 for a machine I can not use as they never gave me the full unit. My neice went to work for her and so did a friend of hers and a few other kids at different times. She has never paid a one of them. She makes them go out and buy scrubs to work for her and works them a week or two and then doesn't work them again and doesn't pay them. I thought when we found this place it was awesome. But I find I must have been highly gullible. I am told there are other people out there like me that she has ripped off. I sure hope they speak up now.
