(Product Name: Natural Cures Newsletter) I called Shop America regarding the Natural Cures Infomercial I saw on TV. I ordered a few books from them, and it came out to about $85.
However, when I viewed my bank statement on-line, I noticed that there was an additional UNAUTHORIZED charge of $71.40 on my statement, which I did not order! However, you can't even get a hold of the company to dispute the charges: hold time is over a half of an hour, and counting. I went to the infomercial complaint website, and I found that there were over 25 people posted with the same exact complaint - an unauthorized charge of $71.40 that cannot be disputed or reversed, due to the fact that the number you are provided with DOES NOT allow you to contact the company.
I did a stop payment on my bank card, which is pending, but someone needs to investigate this. If there are 25 postings on a website about the same issue, they are most likely ripping off thousands of people.
