I was trying to get a $500 Target Gift Card (which was also misleading/a ripoff). I had to sign up for two offers (per page, but it seemed like only two offers total). One thing I signed up for was Rhapsody Real Player for 9.99 a month. The other offer I signed up for was a free sample of LeanLife PM.
Nowhere on this website did it indicate that by signing up for the free sample, I was signing up to receive more pills and be charged for 108.64 for them. I did not authorized them to send me anything further or charge my account for it.
Furthermore, immediately when I realized that I was not actually going to get this Target Gift Card after all because it was actually a trick, I emailed LeanLife and cancelled my free sample. They sent it to me anyway, and I wrote, "Refused, Return to Sender, Unsubscribe, Cancel any Subsequent Orders to this address" and returned it.
A month or so later I was very dismayed to receive a package from them! I looked at my bank account and sure enough they had withdrawn 108.64. I tried to call them to cancel and get my account re-credited but they don't answer their phones.
