At the beginning of February, my spouse ordered the AbTronic Fitness belt. He was informed that if he paid in full, he would receive it within 7 - 10 days. On February 8th, the belt was paid in full. As of March 5th, we have yet to receive the belt.
On March 4th, I was finally able to get in contact with their customer service. The first person I spoke to handed me off to another representative. I explained the problem and she stated that the belts were on back order. I asked her why we were not informed of that when the order was placed.
At first she apologized and then stated a letter was sent to the customers informing them of the delay. I informed her that I did not receive any such letter. At that time, she then stated that no letter was sent out to us. I reiterated that she just stated that a letter was sent to the customers, and that I was a customer. She said that was correct, so I said "You just lied to me then, correct?" and her answer was "YES".
This has to be one of the poorest experiences of customer service I have ever received. As soon as the merchandise is received, it will be returned, with a return receipt to verify I sent it back.
The company guarantees the item to be sent 7 - days when paid in full, however, a month has gone by and no item. I do not recommend this company to anyone. If you are interested in such an item, go to your local department store to purchase it.
